This team formally known as Kids Cancer Crew will be participating in the event to honor all of the children that have cancer and have lost their life to cancer that we have had the privilege to know. However, the event has taken on a new meaning as Randy (my husband) has been in treatment for lymphoma and will have completed his treatment before the event in April. This year I changed the name for the team to honor my cousin's grandson Benjamin who is four years old. He started to have headaches in January and had surgery early in February for an aggressive brain tumor. After one week of radiation and chemotherapy, the severe headaches returned and it was determined that the brain tumor was more aggressive than any of those that the neurosurgeon had ever seen. Ben is now home with his family and is officially in hospice. I found that it would be appropriate to have Ben be an honored "kid" even if it is not official on the site for St Baldrick's and have the team name be Blue4Ben
