I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

On December 30th 2008 our son Mattias ("Tias") was diagnosed with stage 3 lymphoblastic T-Cell lymphoma. He went through a tortuous two years of chemotherapy, hospital stays and seclusion due to infection risks. Something no child should have to endure. As parents we realized that research was the most important thing in the world and St. Baldricks was the right organization for our efforts. December 31st, 2010 marked Mattias', last day of chemo. All scans and tests showed NO SIGNS of disease! He will be monitored for the rest of his life for recurrence.
