Worldwide, a child is diagnosed every 3 minutes. More children are lost to cancer in the U.S. than any other disease. So after many years of sitting on the fence, I have decided that it is time to join those who have shaved their heads to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise awareness and money to find cures.
As my hair has always been a source of entertainment to those who know me well, I have decided to put it to good use. This is a chance not only to see my without my unruly mop, but think of all the laughs you will get watching it grow out!
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
