I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Hares

Last September, I gave birth to my amazing, beautiful healthy baby girl, Stella Evelyn Ayad. She has become the greatest joy in my life and I am truly thankful for her every day. Having Stella has given me so much more sympathy for all children everywhere, I want to go hold orphan babies who are left alone. It breaks my heart that some babies don’t get the love they deserve. And what’s more, I know there are many children out there who weren’t blessed with the health that Stella has. For this reason, I’ve decided to do St. Baldrick’s day this year. St. Baldrick’s day is a fundraiser for youth cancer research. While many cancer research funds are currently in action, there is not nearly enough research going into childhood cancer. On April 4, I will be shaving my head in support and memory of children who receive cancer treatments and loose all their hair. I hope to also donate my hair for wigs to be made for these children. Will you consider supporting me in this endeavor? You may join me in shaving your head as well, support me financially by going to the St. Baldrick’s website and looking me up as a shavee. Please consider contributing as little or as much as you are able, my team’s goal is to raise $999. Finally, if you cannot do any of those, please send my cause on to your friends and family in hopes that they may also continue the thread of support for this cause. Thank you so much and wish me luck!!!!
