I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Peachy Keens

Kansas City, here I come! This summer, I'll be joining the 46 Mommas for the fourth time to shave my head in support of childhood cancer research. I'm so proud to say that this amazing team, for which I have the pleasure of serving on leadership for the third time, has raised over $1.6 million to date, and we're powering on to $2 million! Standing with fellow Mommas, all touched by childhood cancer, and all determined to help fund cures and safer, less-toxic treatments for our children is my honor and my privilege, and I would love for you to join us. To add to the excitement this year, the funds I raise for the Mommas will also benefit our newest endeavor: the Georgia and the Peachy Keens Hero Fund! To celebrate Georgia's FIFTH year past diagnosis, we have launched the fund with St. Baldrick's to directly support particular research and possibly choose the grants we help fund. It's like having our own non-profit organization and is the perfect way to honor Georgia's fight and VICTORY over leukemia! So our initiative - and battle cry - for this year is "15 for 15 in '15!" We want to raise $15,000 for Georgia's 15th birthday in 2015 and help CONQUER childhood cancer! Please visit our Hero Fund page and Georgia's blog to see how you can help, and share the video that our in-house media technology wiz put together herself. It's going to be a great year, y'all! Much love and gratitude, Courtney Georgia and the Peachy Keens Hero Fund: http://www.stbaldricks.org/hero-funds/georgia/ Keepin' Georgia on Your Mind: http://www.keepingeorgiaonyourmind.blogspot.com/
