I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Going into this event, I had no intention of actually shaving my head. Our local jeep community is large and the people in it are beyond amazing. As soon as we arrived, I knew I had to help out somehow. So I did. Took less than 30 seconds to raise $200. Again, these people are gracious and I thank every single one of them for their support. Without them, I couldn't have done it. My friends joined in to get their heads shaved once I was buzzed. It was amazing. As a mother of 2, I could not imagine what these kids must go thru. I'm so proud to say I've done this. Can't wait til next year!
