I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Ever since my dear friend Bethy died of cancer in 2011 and my grandfather died of cancer in 2012, cancer patients have been on my heart. Bethy said one of the greatest trials for her was losing her hair because she felt it meant the loss of beauty. I'm shaving my head, not only to raise money for childhood cancer research, but also to give hope to children suffering the effects of cancer treatments.I want them to know that they are beautiful, and they are not alone. Childhood cancers are different from adult cancers and the research is extremely underfunded, therefore, I hope you'll consider donating money to this awesome cause because every dollar counts. Lets give hope back to the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancer.
