I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Kappa Psi Chi

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Kappa Psi Chi

Hey, folks! My name is Brendan, and I'm a member of the Kappa Psi Fraternity at University of Illinois Chicago's School of Pharmacy. I'm shaving my head for children's cancer!

My very namesake is due to this disease, as my maternal grandfather was lost to cancer a month before I was born. Fortunately, I was born on his birthday, so I gained his namesake. Additionally, my (step)paternal grandfather also died from this horrible affliction when I was only 12, so I know the sting of it's loss all too well. I have also lost many other family members, including beloved Aunts, Uncles, and my great grandfather. Thus, I am very invested in this.

How much money would YOU give to end cancer? How about just to see me bald? Please donate what you can, every bit counts. If not for me, then do it to honor any family members you may have lost to this terrible disease. Do it for the families who have lost those far too young to suffer so much.

I'll keep you updated on how close I am getting to my modest $400 goal.

Now let's go out there and kick cancer in the BUTT!
