I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: WCTA - Breaking Bald

I believe that the things happening to the families and friends of those who have been diagnosed with cancer are truly terrible. I know how dark of a place the world can be and cannot imagine what it would be like to have that kind of weight resting on my shoulders; the knowledge that I could die any day now. In honor of these courageous individuals I am shaving my head to show my support- it is the very least I could do. Many other students at my school are afraid to do this because they are worried about what people will think of them, but I know that hair is hair and it grows back. I want these cancer-diagnosed children to know that they have someone to support them.
