I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Roxboro Cares :)

Hi, my name is Carolyn Meyer, and I'm trying to raise money for childhood cancer research during St. Baldrick’s Shave-A-Thon. I am captaining the team for my Elementary School team, Roxboro Cares, by shaving all my hair off my head, to raise money for childhood cancer research.

Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded! So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help. Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of children including my 6 year old sister,(passed away) Rebecca Meyer, who had a very uncommon form of brain cancer.

All infants, toddlers, school aged, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers need your help. Did you know that your donation could save a child’s life? It’s true!

My sister Rebecca passed away on June 7th, 2014. She had been in her bed and her family surrounded her.She was the star of my sky, the pane of my window, the hand to my body, and my sister to my life. She helped connect Josh and I . I am 5 years older than Becca,( or as she wanted it REE-becca)but im 7 years older than Josh. Rebecca is my angel and always will be my sister and shining star.

Thanks,

Carolyn Meyer
