I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Washougal Winning Warriors

Hi, My name is Sammy, aka Sambo. I'm 9 years old and I am a survivor of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a blood cancer, that I got when I was 6 years old. I'm done with treatment, but still have appointments to make sure I'm okay. I love to play piano, jump on the trampoline with my sissy Syd, play soccer and basketball, swim in the river a lot like a fish and also I love my piggies! I love to climb trees, play on the roof, and being a monkey! When I had my treatments, I lost my hair in big clumps, then I was BALD! After cancer my hair grew out in long big curls, as you can see from my picture. You might be wondering why I am going to shave it all off. Well, I want to raise money in getting a cure from cancer so that children will not have to go through what I went through with the rough treatments. Some of my friends have died from cancer and I want a cure so no one has to die. I HOPE YOU WILL SUPPORT ME! Every little bit goes a long way, but you know I DO like the big bucks! LET'S KICK CANCER'S BUTT! THANK YOU!
