I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Cayuga County

Why am I shaving my head for St. Baldrick's? It's a valid question and one I should answer if I expect anyone to support me. Let me start by saying it isn't because "I'm so strong or brave," when in fact the exact opposite is true when it comes to cancer. Cancer, and especially childhood cancer, makes me feel weak, vulnerable and helpless and simply put, I DON'T LIKE to feel that way. So this is something I can do to help and so can you. The second reason is our beautiful, healthy, happy daughter Anna, or the P, as we call her. I do not want to take her or our family's good health for granted for even one second. Lastly, if we were ever faced with cancer in our family, and especially in our own daughter, I would want to know that the world and the people in it were doing absolutely everything they could to beat it! So, please join me in supporting childhood cancer research by pledging your support, in ANY amount, to the fundraising event where I will be shaving my head. Thank you, Kelly, Andy & Anna Anderson.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
