I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

There are a lot of people in the world suffering from cancer, many of them kids. And cancer is really awful. When you have cancer, you have to fight it - cut that lump out and keep on going. I'm lucky I haven't had to make that fight, but I've seen people cut down down in the prime of their life, and people who lost the battle all together.

I am absolutely shaving my head, and donating my hair to Locks of Love. Hair grows back, but lives lost to cancer can never be restored.

I will be taping the shave, and I'll post it publicly afterwards for anyone wants to witness me losing almost 2 feet of hair. I've never had short hair in my entire life, and my hair is a big part of who I am. Because it means so much to me, I can imagine what it's like to have it taken away from you. So to all of you who've lost your hair to this... don't worry about it. You're beautiful no matter what.

The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
