Ladies and Gentlemen, I first heard about this great charity through the Carolina Hurricanes and my love for hockey. After seeing so many people of all ages answer the call to help, I decided it was time to follow suit. For the longest time I have been completely vain with regards to my hair, so taking part in this cause is a challenge in and of itself for me. That is why I very humble ask for any donations, whether it be dollar or cent, that you feel comfortable giving. If you do not feel comfortable supporting me through material donation, then I still kindly ask for any and all prayers. As I said, this is a huge step out of my comfort zone, but I see it as something worth while because it has the possibility of benefiting individuals is so many different ways, with everything from paying off the extremely high hospital bills to simply raising awareness.
Thank you all again and God Bless!
(I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
