I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you! Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail. The money raised by St. Baldrick's Foundation is instrumental in the fight against pediatric cancers. I am a postdoctoral scholar in Oren Becher's lab at Duke University and the grant money we receive from St. Baldrick's allows us to continue to understand and search for treatments for pediatric brainstem glioma, a deadly disease that strikes children and for which there is currently no known treatment or cure. I'm shaving my head to show my support for all St. Baldrick's does for pediatric cancers and as a thank you for the investment that St. Baldrick's has made in my own research!
