LESS than 5 days!! I will no longer have to worry about how my hair looks! Yes, that's right I have decided to take part in our student and Staff fundraiser for cancer research. I know that our Fisher community has been hit hard over the last few years by cancer, and I myself have been personally affected through watching my family and friends join in the battle. To have to take on the fight of cancer is difficult enough, but I can't imagine the challenges faced by young children in this situation.
In celebration and support of these amazing kids I am raising money for the St. Baldrick's foundation and shaving my head on Friday March 15
I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
