Ok, so here's my story. Last year my husband, Jeffrey, shaved his head as part of the St. Baldrick's fundraiser. He asked me to join him but I just couldn't bring myself to shave my head, so I offered instead to grow my hair so I could give it to the Locks for Love program. (They use the hair to make wigs for those going through chemo.) I've not cut my hair since and my pony tail is about 6 inches long. Donating my hair is nice but I feel like I need to do more. I have family and friends who are battling or who have battled, some won and others lost the battle with cancer. I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
