I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Vinny

Here we grow again. We are holding our fourth shave event again at Smitty’s bar & grille in Kernersville. Last year was a difficult one for most folks economically but again you all worked hard and made this event a great success. This year we are poised for another grand event and the need is just as great. We are dedicating this year’s event in the memory of our dear friend; Kernersville’s local “hero” ,9 year old Vinny Digerolamo. This little boy lost his battle with cancer on February 18th, 2013 and earned his wings. So let’s see who will stand up and be a hero for Vinny and all kids with cancer! Join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Together we can help to find a cure for cancer so that all the Vinny’s of the world will grow up to enjoy life to its fullest……

My Roles:

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
