I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Why am I going to have my head shaved??? I want to encourage people to donate to help kids with cancer. My grandmother passed away after valiantly battling cancer and a childhood friend, shortly after becoming a mother, endured her own courageous fight that sadly ended this past summer. I would love to be a part of helping find ways to treat and possibly cure cancer. I am not a doctor or a researcher... I am a mother of two healthy kids. I've known people who died very young in their lives. I watched the families mourn and wished I could do something. This is one small thing I can do. It won't bring anyone back, but maybe it will keep someone else living longer & smiling more. I think that is worth the shave.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
