I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I am going to shave my head in honor of my daughter, Lila, who was diagnosed with leukemia when she was only four weeks old. She's now five years old and is officially a cancer survivor!
I have seen first hand the incredible courage of kids who have cancer. My daughter put up with so much suffering while she was in the hospital, and she did it with a smile on her face. She has inspired me to "brave the shave" in her honor, and in memory of the children who do not survive. It is my hope that the money we raise for this event will help another child achieve their cure and their miracle.
