I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: CosFam

Family and friends, what a journey we have been on together. I am so blessed to be where I am today, but, lets be honest, I did not make it to here on my own. Had it not been for my amazing medical care and equally amazing support, I may not be here writing these words. I promised myself that if I made it through this battle that I would stop at nothing to give back to all those who gave me the will to fight. Although my battle is far from over, it is never too early to start. That is why today I am asking you to join me, my gopher athletics family and anyone else who chooses to come down to the Gibson Nagurski Football complex on monday, October 29, in our fight against childhood cancer. No child on earth should ever have to endure something as terrible as cancer and it is so important that we continue to fight towards a cure so that someday, no child will ever have to again. However, it will be impossible for this day to come if we do not continue to raise the funds needed for continued research. That is why myself, along with the gopher athletics family, have decided to take a stand against childhood cancer, with the help of St. Baldrick's. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. While I would love for you to join in shaving our heads, there are so many other ways to help. Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail. It is so simple to make a difference, so simple to help save a life. Never give up, always fight. All of my love, Connor John
