I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Fire House 10

Hello everyone, It is that time again where we, the FOOLs of Oz (Fraternal Order of Leatherheads – it’s a firefighter thing), shave our heads to raise money for children’s cancer. I was going to list several facts about cancer, but decided one is sufficient enough to convey the point. Childhood cancers are the #1 disease killer of children. I know many of you have been very generous in the past. It is my hope you will show the same big-heartedness this year, however, I understand if you want to give less since I have less hair to shave. I estimate about a 5% hairline decrease in the last year. So if you gave a $20 previously, a proportional donation this year would be $19. Again, thank you to everyone for previous donations and this year’s kindness.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
