I've answered the call to be a hero! I have shaved my head to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
As you can see from my picture I shaved in honor of Miracle Maura May Kane. Maura received her cancer treatment at UNC hospital for Stage IV Neuroblastoma. One of the doctors on her team had his fellowship sponsered by St. Baldricks and he researched neuroblastoma while at UNC. The Kanes have been blessed to have a child that is almost six years cancer free and want to help ensure that other families touched by childhood cancer have hope. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
