I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: SRPOA

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.

Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Several years ago when my husband was having surgery for his cancer we were fortunate enough to get to stay at one of the Ronald McDonald houses in New York. While there, we met the families of several kids going through different forms of treatment. Those kids were the strongest kids of all. We were able to go visit them in the children’s ward. To them it was just another day. They were so used to what they had to endure each day. We watched as they had surgery, as they went through treatment and even attended a funeral of one girl who lost her fight. Even though we had just met the family weeks before it was hard to grieve with a family who had to lose a child so young. I want to be one of the few that can help find a cure by raising money for awareness for childhood cancer. Please join me in the fight by making a donation or joining me in shaving your head and raising money yourself! Thank you!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
