I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Most of my life I have had friends survive the rigorous fight, and more that could not. This disease affects all! If you have not known anyone to go through this, you are lucky. If you have stood next to a survivor then you know, and if you have seen someone die of cancer; it devastates. All in all if you have seen a child die of cancer, I cannot even begin to describe the pain that a person goes through. I have been a person who has stood by more fights lost than won. This is why I do this every year, and many other charities. St Baldricks is the charity I place highest. Children with cancer! That statement scares me to no end being a father, and an uncle. I will do anything to support the cause to fight cancer even shave my head, because, this has nothing to do with me. It has to do with survival, for the children who have cancer now and tomorrow. Hoping none of us have to go through this, as parents, brothers, grandparents, or friends. I am not asking anyone to shave their heads, but you can help by donating on mine. There is no amount too small, a small gesture goes a long way. Sacrifice something like your morning coffee, or going out for lunch one day.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
