On December 26, 2010 I lost my mother to pancreatic cancer. As anyone who has lost someone dear to them would know, this was a life altering event. I had been interested in participating with St. Baldrick's for some time, and the loss of my mother strengthened my resolve to do whatever I could to fight cancer.
