Moving towards eventually being a parent myself, I thought what would I want people to do if my child were in any of the unfortunate situations that these children are in. Having put myself in that frame of mind and having the support of my wife and friends (some of whom have volunteered in the past), contributed to my becoming a volunteer and not just any volunteer, but a shavee.
This means I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation, which funds more in childhood cancer research grants (through charity) than any organization except the U.S. government.
