Well...I'm doing it! I'm shaving my head on May 14, 2011!
I am a lucky mother of a thankfully happy and healthy 3 year old. She is my world. I am proud to be a part of a foundation that gives so many children a hope at finding a cure to this devistating disease. I will be shaving with 3 other brave and wonderful women on May 14 in honor of Maxwell Nunn who passed away on Thanksgiving day. I never got a chance to meet Max, however his bravery in his fight for cancer inspired me to do more than sit back and "hope" that someone finds a cure. I have learned that if you are not part of the solution- you are part of the reason the solution can't be found. I am saddened by what brought me together with this wonderful group of individuals; but I am thankful that these amazing people are now in my life.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldricks Foundation. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you
