I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

They told me last year that it wouldn't grow back. Well it did. It was liberating...no time spent primping and no trips to the barber for awhile. No grays also!!! Seriously though, for kids diagnosed with cancer, whether their hair grows back is the least of their worries. One in five kids diagnosed will not survive. In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. NOT ACCEPTABLE. You have all seen what cancer can do to a family. When it happens to a child, multiply the heartache tenfold. Again I say, NOT ACCEPTABLE.
The St. Baldrick's Foundation is the largest volunteer driven movement for childhood cancer research. St. Baldrick's now funds more childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Virtually every institution in North America with expertise in treating childhood cancers receives research grant funds from St. Baldrick's.
Now then, on with the pitch. Please sponsor me with a donation. If not me, please sponsor another shavee or become a shavee yourself. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is an exceptional organization and is very worthy of your generous support. To make a donation, click on "Make A Donation" or donate by mail or phone. Also, if you would be so kind, please pass along this page to those you think may like to donate. I'll take it any way I can get it. Last year, your generosity was OVERWHELMING. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Thank you for your support.
