I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Hofstra Roller Hockey Team

4 years ago, I had hair longer than most women and I was looking for a reason to cut it, then I found St. Baldrick's Foundation. What started as a free haircut has turned into an annual event for me and my hockey team. I am proud to say that I am organizing another event at Hofstra and again I will be shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment. The main reason we do it is because we are raising critical funds for childhood cancer research!

In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure.
