With the Boise fundraiser behind me, I am moving full speed ahead to reach my goal of $7000. I WILL NOT stop, till there is a cure! Just as my 2011 year began, free, of chemo, every weekday there are 46 kids newly diagnosed. When the time comes (and it will) that there is a chance for EVERY child, I will feel at ease. However, when NO child dies as a result of their treatment or lack there of, I will celebrate!
I am so excited to participate with such an amazing group of mothers!
You heard it right - I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research!
