I am organizing this virtual event in hopes to raise awareness for kids with Leukemia. I have seen the St. Jude’s commercials a million times and always wanted to donate but never did. I always thought that it would never happen to me and yet here I am. Tyson is my 11 year old boy who was recent diagnosed with Leukemia (ALL). I have a ton of friends that have asked me where they can donate and while I was researching the various Leukemia foundations I came across the St. Baldrick’s site. Since my son will lose his hair I volunteered to shave my head as well. All of a sudden, my step-father volunteered and then so did a few of my friends! I even have 1 woman volunteering as well! We are going to make this a fun even for all of us, especially Tyson.
