I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Deer Park

My sister Sarah just recently recovered from cervical cancer and is now struggling with rectal cancer. She has maintaned an amazing, positive attutude throughout this entire battle of which I am so proud of. Sarah is raising her two young daughters while sick and healing through the many surgeries she has had to endure. She has reminded me that no matter how awful things may be, if you have faith and the love of your family and friends, you can get through anything. She continues to inspire me, and to furthur support her, I will be shaving my head as she loses her hair to the chemo that she will be receiving to ward off this terrible disease. When I think of strong women, she is the first to come to mind! I love her so much!!!

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
