You heard it right - I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research!

In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure.

For those that know me and my family we have lost several family members to cancer. My grandmother Jennie Badley in 1981, my cousin Jacqueline Maynez-Rios in 1982, my uncle Mike Lucero in 1987 and my mother Pauline Diaz on October 26, 1991. For what these kids are going through with the treatment and side effects they have to endure I believe that shaving my head for this good cause in nothing compared to what all these kids are going through.
