I am shaving my head this year in honor of my 8 year old nephew, Anthony, who is fighting a rare and deadly disease called Myotubular Myopathy. Anthony has a trach and feeding tube and lives life to its fullest everyday. He's my hero!
I am also shaving my head in honor of my friend, Enda, who helped to start St. Baldrick's and who is shaving his head again this year, even while dealing with his own chemo treatments.
Children fighting these deadly diseases are braver than I will ever be and I'm going to honor, support, and thank them by shaving my head and raising money for a cure. Please join me!!
