Hello and many thanks for visiting my St. Baldrick's site. If you've come this far, maybe you're willing to go a little farther. I'll put it right out there, donate to help me to conquer Kids' Cancer! Or better yet, come with me and shave your head too! That's right, I DARE YOU!
Why? Let me tell you a story.
Most of us have grown up rather blessed. Sure we all have our ups and downs, but we're strong, we're supported, we live. As kids we run around playing, learning, growing...being kids. Hello and many thanks for visiting my St. Baldrick's site. If you've come this far, maybe you're willing to go a little farther. I'll put it right out there, donate to help me to conquer Kids' Cancer! Or better yet, come with me and shave your head too! That's right, I DARE YOU!

Most of us have grown up rather blessed. Sure we all have our ups and downs, but we're strong, we're supported, we live. As kids we run around playing, learning, growing...being kids. We go to school, get jobs...start our lives. Some of us marry and have children, or in my case, I'm blessed with 2 AMAZING nephews. As adults we all pray and hope that our loved ones will have every opportunity life has to offer and we hope to go through life with only a few bruises. But life sometimes throws us a major curve ball.
I have an AMAZING friend, Jennie with one AMAZING family. I've known Jennie since I was 5 and there isn't a thing I wouldn't do for her! 4 years ago Jennie and her husband Ben and her son, Adam, welcomed a new addition to their family, a beautiful boy named Noah. At 2 months of age and only 7 lbs, Noah was diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma (tumor in each eye). He has undergone 8 rounds of chemotherapy, almost 40 eye exams under anesthesia with laser surgery, blood transfusions, and numerous CT scans, and MRI's. Noah also received a round of proton radiation therapy with 22 days of radiation under anesthesia....all at the age of a year and a half (18 months).
Take that last paragraph in....Noah is one strong little boy.
Noah is a fighter! A very fierce fighter! Noah is 4 now, but he'll have many battles ahead of him and I'll continue to always fight and do what I can to help him and help Jennie, Ben, and Adam! It's only a small gesture that I'm shaving my head but my hair will grow back. Unfortunately so many kids today have to deal with cancer and have to deal with losing their hair.
So I'm asking you to donate today! Any amount will do, but donate. Help give kids a chance to do all the things we got to do....be a kid. You can donate online through my site, or if you see me you can give me the money. And please come join me on March 20th at Balmoral Race Track in Crete IL and see me get a shave!
Thanks and God bless you!
