I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: 46 Mommas Shave for the Brave

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: 46 Mommas Shave for the Brave

In September 2007, my 5 year old daughter Grace was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. We knew that her bright red hair would fall out 2 weeks into her high intensity radiation treatment. Before the clumps began to fall, I gave her permission to cut her own hair. What 5 year old doesn't want to cut their own hair? She loved having that control in an otherwise out of control situation. In September 2010, I am taking control and shaving my head with "46 Mommas Shave for the Brave". Why 46? That's how many children are diagnosed with cancer EVERY DAY. And how powerful, to have 46 gorgeous cancer mommas making this statement together. Grace will be 3 years from diagnosis at the time of the shave. Won't you please help me celebrate her triumph with a donation to "46 Mommas"? Together, we can find a cure for childhood cancer.
