I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Crusher's Crew

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Crusher's Crew

I'll be shaving for the 7th consecutive year on June 28th, the 3rd year in a row in Grand Junction. Join us! Sign up yourself to shave and start your own personal fundraising drive for the kids!
My wife, Harriet Carmine and Daughter, Robyn Carmine and I are the organizers for the GJ Event. The photos here are of our Team Crusher's Crew at our first St. Baldrick's Event in 2008 after we lost our son, Neal, to Ewing's Sarcoma, a childhood soft tissue/bone cancer that strikes some young adults, of Neal pre-illness and of Neal at the 2007 St. Baldrick's Event in Denver while he was in treatment. He shaved his oncologists's head that day! The other photos are of Neal with his friend, Emily, a Ewing's Sarcoma survivor, who will speak at our event this year and with his Mom a few months before his death on July 19, 2007. We miss Neal every day and dedicate our efforts with the St. Baldrick's Foundation to his memory.
The GJ organizing group for the 3rd Annual local Event welcomes your attendance and participation.
Kids' cancers are different from adult cancers. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. We are raising money for cures.
I need your help! Will you make a donation on my head (and face - I'll be shaving CLEAN)? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
