That "before" pic is me, in 1968! If I had been diagnosed...back then....with most forms of childhood cancer, my chances of survival would have only been 10-20%.Today, the survival rate for the MOST COMMON childhod cancers is over 80%, but that's still too many lives lost and too many other cancers that need better treatments!
It's already YEAR #6 that I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
