Christian L. I am THRILLED to report that Christian's annual long-term cancer survivor check up gave him an "all clear"!! The main concern right now is looking for secondary cancers - mainly at the radiation site, and Christian's heart. One of the chemo drugs combined with the location of his radiation puts him at a high risk for heart disease. Everything looks good and his ECHO was perfect!!! :)Feb 28, 2012, 12:12 pm

Christian L. June of 2011 marked 5 years since Christian was off-treatment, cancer-free, and is now considered "CURED"!!! On January 29th Christian just celebrated his 11th birthday! He still goes every year for follow-up long-term care check-ups. His next appointment is at the end of this month and we hope to report that he is still cancer-free and in perfect health.
