Anna T. It will soon be 28 months since Anna's 2nd BMT, she is doing well mentally and physically although her body does not always agree. Last year she had a full head of hair and she shaved it off while her friend Alyse held her hand. She was hoping that something would be done to help Alyse who had just recently received the news that she had relapsed and her cancer was incurable. Alyse gained her angel wings on August 31 2011. June 2008...Started visiting Children's Hospital of WI Aug 29, 2008....Anna has some kind of cancer...turned out to be MDS w/ Monosomy 5 Sept 19th, 2008...1st Bone Marrow Transplant Aug. 19th 2009...relapsed....this time it is AML w/ Monsomy 5 Aug. 27, 2009...readmitted to start chemo to try to put it remision Nov. 19th, 2009...second bone marrow transplant Dec 29th, 2009....finally returned home. March 2011....still in remission and returns to Children's once a monthMar 2, 2011, 1:58 pm
