Chris is one of 3 boys who are being raised by their caring mom Maria. Chris was originally diagnosed with AML and received a bone marrow transplant from one of his brothers in 2006. He was doing great, but one year later came down with symptoms and was diagnosed with (relapsed with) ALL. He is a fighter and is currently undergoing outpatient treatment for ALL. Maria was just told that treatment could last 3 more years for Chris, who is in junior high.
