Kendall Jackson

Kendall and his twin brother Zachary were born on May 7, 2002. Two years later, Kendall was diagnosed with stage IV Neuroblastoma. He endured three years of therapy, with strength, grace, smiles and laughter. He loved life and lived it fully. He was so much fun to be around. Kendall never walked anywhere. He skipped, he jumped, he hopped, he danced, and sometimes he rolled.... especially down hills! Kendall loved video games, especially Lego Star Wars. It was a rare treat to get to go to Chuck E. Cheese or the Fun 4 All to play. These were his opportunities to be a "normal" child, and we took them whenever his counts allowed. He loved going to children's museums, libraries and zoo's. He loved playing on the computer, and was very attached to his Webkinz Pola (a polar bear). He liked Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers, and all things Star Wars. He saw each movie several times, and could talk for hours on the various scenes and characters. It was amazing to hear the associations and inferences he made from the movies at such a young age (not quite five years old).

Kendall seldom complained about his lot in life. He faced whatever challenges came before him, and made the best of any situation. He died on April 11, 2007, just a few days after Easter. He was just a joy to be around, and he will be missed by many.
