Marissa is an upbeat young lady who keeps fighting like a trooper. She has twice completed 14 + months of chemo to have it spread again while off treatment.. She began the journey all over again a year ago. She had another craniotomy last spring and has been back on a new chemo since May 08. She is having her best year ever, despite the chemo. She is doing well at school, in sports and clubs. She is loved by everyone she meets. She is my inspiration and a reminder of how to make the best of each day. Her brother has been shaving his head for her and her friends each year. This is his 5th year shaving!
