Kayleigh is a very outgoing, energetic girl with a strong spirit who loves school and spending time with her friends and family. Prior to being diagnosed, she loved music., dancing, softball, volleyball and cheerleading as well as swimming, tennis and kayaking. She also plays violin, flute and is learning to play guitar! Currently she is a member of the MHS Kidette colorguard squad and loves performing!
Cancer treatment has slowed her down a bit physically and prevents her from participating in some of the sports she loves, but it hasn't dampened her spirit. She is a bright, shining star to all those who know her. Ask her about cancer and she'll tell you, "Cancer is just something I have to get through. I'm going to get better and the Lord is going to use me and my cancer to help someone else somewhere, someday."
Kayleigh hopes to attend college followed by medical school to become a doctor. She is still trying to figure out what type of medicine she'd like to specialize in. She loves science and math and hopes to use them to help others someday.
