My Story

Fletcher Christian Vines was anything but your typical boy. He loved 300-count Egyptian cotton sheets, St. Andre Brie cheese and Times Square in New York, joking he'd like nothing better than to pull up a chair and just watch the people pass by. He knew the difference between Prada and Versace, wore nothing but silk pajamas to bed, took ballet, and danced in the Nutcracker. For his birthday, he made beef bourguignon and served it to his adult guests. Along with his family, Fletcher started the St. Baldrick's event in Oklahoma City five years ago. His enthusiasm, warmth and sunny smile at every event made everyone feel welcome and part of the fun. This year's Oklahoma City St. Baldrick's event honors Fletcher for his courageous life and passion for helping others.
