My Story

Hello, my name is Addison Carolyn Bryan and I was diagnosed with a PNET tumor coupled with a leptomeningeal spread at just 9.5 weeks old. It is incredibly rare for someone of my age to be diagnosed with this illness. I started a standard Chemo regimen and was scheduled to have a Stem Cell Harvest performed at CHOP. Unfortunately the tumor did not have any response and kept growing through the first two cycles. The tumor was considered inoperable, however I started Chemo and fought the whole way through with the good Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior and Provider. I was also blessed to have my family by my side and my community's support. Thank you for supporting me and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
