Thank you for supporting me and >300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. With more research we can have better treatments and we will all have a better chance of living. I was diagnosed with high risk anaplastic medulloblastoma on 9 July 2012 aged 4. I had surgery followed by 31 sessions of proton radiation to my brain and spine in Aug/Sept 2012 along with weekly chemo. I completed 5 of 6 rounds of chemotherapy over the next 6 months before disease progression in April 2013. In May 2013, I started new chemo for relapse medulloblastoma and in April 2014 after another 9 rounds of chemo, the scan finally showed no evidence of disease.  I have totally lost my balance and I have sight and severe hearing loss but with therapies I continue to get stronger and more independent. I also still have MRI scans  every 6 months and checkups with Endocrinology, Audiology, Immunology, Ophthalmology, Neurology to monitor all the side-effects from treatment.  I attend school full time, have made some friends and I am also a Junior girl scout.  I am happy and I am so glad that I beat brain cancer twice.
