My Story

On January 15, 2002, Tyler was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma in the left tibia/fibula with metastasis in his lungs. He underwent almost a year of chemotherapy with six weeks of radiation to both areas and finished treatment November 8, 2002. All had been well until June 2004, when he complained of pain in his left hip for a few weeks. A biopsy was performed at the end of June 2004 which was negative. School started and Tyler did great until the pain came back and got progressively worse. A second biopsy on October 8th, 2004 showed that Tyler had indeed relapsed. As always we continue to trust in God for strength, peace, and confidence in helping Tyler to completely recover from this disease.
