My Story

Ethan was the bravest and strongest person I have ever met. He loved going around taking orders and making his nurses free slushies. He was pulled over by security late one night while riding his therapy bike (his dad running beside him) in the hospital hallways for speeding..his answer to why he was speeding..."I just wanted to see if I went fast enough my vampire cape would flap up in the back." Ethan was a huge Virginia Tech fan and decorated his room all in VT decor even though he was being treated at VTs rival..UVA hospital. Every room he was in, he left a VT sticker on the clocks. He even snuck into the nurses lockers and placed VT stickers on them. Needless to say, the next day the nurses decorated Ethan's room in UVA decor while he was in class. He never once complained about having cancer. He always said he was strong enough to beat it and glad he got it instead of others. He beat cancer 3 times before fungal pneumonia ended his life. He was so full of life and smiled through it all.
